Man denies attempting to burgle former Nottingham vicarage

A Basford man has pleaded not guilty to the attempted burglary of the disused St Matthew's vicarage on December 17 last year.

City magistrates granted bail to Dean Hudson, 38, of Sandon Street. But he must stay indoors between 6pm and 6am.

A trial was set for January 31 at the magistrates' court. He was also ordered to report to Radford Road police station daily until the trial date.

When asked by presiding magistrate Mrs Pat Walsh if he understood the terms of the curfew, he replied: "I understand."

The vicarage is in Padstow Road, Nottingham.
