Man delighted by 'abnormal' amount of leg room on flight - but there's a problem

A man was left in shock after arriving at his plane seat only to find that there was not a seat in front of him. As you sit down in a seat on a plane, most of our initial thoughts will turn to how much legroom we will get for the flight and probably lament at how uncomfortable we will be for a few hours.

However, for one man this was not the case as he noticed that the seat in front of him had been ripped out, leaving a huge space for his feet and any bags that he had brought on board.

Taking to Reddit, the man posted a picture of his plane seat which clearly shows him sat on the window side of the aisle with no seat in the row in front of him, leaving him with acres of legroom.

In the post, the passenger posted the picture alongside the caption: "The plane seat in front of me was removed, giving me an abnormal amount of leg room for an economy class seat."

Initially, the passenger probably counted his lucky stars as he realised he would have a lot of extra legroom for the flight which would be like sitting in business or even first class.

However, many in the comments were quick to notice a slight issue with this fortunate circumstance which could have left the passenger frustrated.

Due to the fact there was no seat in front of him, the nearest TV to him was two rows away which might make things more difficult to check out the in-flight entertainment.

One person wrote: "Hope you remembered your binoculars for that TV."

While another stated: "The plane giveth and the plane taketh away."

A third penned: "Unfortunately, now the screen is further away."
