A man was fatally shot Friday evening in the South Side Englewood neighborhood, police said.
The 24-year-old was shot in his head about 7:15 p.m. in the 7400 block of South Harvard Avenue, Chicago police said.
He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died, police said. No one is in custody.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details about the death.
Area South detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
