
A man is facing felony charges in connection to a shooting Monday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.
Marvin Browder, 35, was charged with being an armed habitual criminal, Chicago police said.
About 3:55 p.m., a 32-year-old man was in the 500 block of South Lockwood Avenue when someone fired shots, police said. The 32-year-old was struck multiple times in his body and taken in critical condition to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.
Browder was taken into custody and charged following the shooting, police said. He is due in bond court Tuesday.
