A man crashed his vehicle Thursday after being grazed by a bullet in East Garfield Park on the West Side.

Just before 1 a.m., the man, 27, was driving in the 100 block of South Sacramento Boulevard when someone from the sidewalk fired shots at him, Chicago police said. He continued driving and crashed into another vehicle in the 2500 block of West Congress Parkway.

The man was grazed by a bullet on his right elbow and refused treatment, police said. A female and a male passenger in his vehicle were taken to Stroger Hospital with minor injuries from the crash.
