Man City youngster Luka Ilic sent back out on loan

Manchester City have sent Luka Ilic out on loan to FC Twente again.

The 22-year-old scored twice in 24 appearances for The Tukkers in the Eredivisie last season, with the club finishing 10th in the table.

Twente and City have agreed to extend the Serbian's loan into a second season. This will be the fourth consecutive year that Ilic will have spent in the Netherlands — having also played on loan with NAC Breda for two campaigns.

The attacking midfielder joined City from Red Star Belgrade in 2017 for a fee in the region of £2.25 million.

Ilic, whose brother Ivan is also contracted to the Etihad Stadium club, has never made a senior appearance for the club in four years, while his current deal runs out next summer.
