Pep Guardiola is set to ring the changes after Manchester City we’re forced to play with 10 men for the majority of their defeat to Wolves on Friday night.
The Premier League champions face Sheffield United today, less than 48 hours after that trip to the Molineux.
Ederson’s red card after 12 minutes made for an exhausting night for Guardiola’s side, which ended in a dramatic 3-2 defeat.
“I have to evaluate the players,” said Guardiola. "Of course we need fresh legs with a team as physical as Sheffield, but I don't know how they recover, how they feel."
Gabriel Jesus was ruled out with illness on Friday, while John Stones and David Silva were also out as they work their way back to fitness.
Sergio Aguero was a surprise starter at Wolves following his recent thigh injury, but was sacrificed when Claudio Bravo came on for Ederson.
"Sergio is not ready to play 90 minutes,” Guardiola added. “He was out for a month and a half, and has trained only four or five sessions.
“Ten against 11, I thought we need players with physicality, energy. We also used one substitution, so we needed ten players who can be effective and physically better than Sergio now is."

Predicted XI: Man City (4-3-3): Bravo; Cancelo, Fernandinho, Otamendi, Zinchenko; De Bruyne, Rodri, Gundogan; Bernardo, Aguero, Sterling
