Man City XI vs Chelsea FC: Sterling and Aguero start - lineup and confirmed team news today

Pep Guardiola has rotated his Manchester City against Chelsea this evening as they bid to confirm their status as Premier League champions.

Having lost to Thomas Tuchel in the FA Cup semi-finals and now set to face them in the Champions League Final, Guardiola has changed things up despite the opportunity to clinch the title.

John Stones again sits out as he serves the third and final game of his three-match suspension - with Aymeric Laporte coming in - but otherwise Guardiola has no new problems.

On the flanks, Joao Cancelo and Nathan Ake come in to give Kyle Walker and Oleksandr Zinchenko a rest while, in midfield, Rodri is in for Fernandinho.

In attack, Riyad Mahrez has firmly established himself as first choice after another match-winning display, though Raheem Sterling starts as he looks to impress ahead of the Champions League Final.

Ferran Torres, Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus are all in need of minutes and start as well.

Man City XI: Ederson, Cancelo, Dias, Laporte, Ake, Mendy, Rodri, Torres, Sterling, Aguero, Jesus

Subs: Steffen, Walker, Gundogan, Zinchenko, Bernardo, Fernandinho, Mahrez, Foden, Garcia

Manchester City provisional squad: Ederson, Steffen, Walker, Cancelo, Dias, Laporte, Ake, Garcia, Zinchenko, Mendy, Fernandinho, Gundogan, Rodri, De Bruyne, Foden, Silva, Torres, Mahrez, Sterling, Aguero, Jesus.
