Leroy Sane has refused to commit his future to either Manchester City or Bayern Munich, amid speculation he will leave the Premier League for the Bundesliga this summer.
It seems everyone connected to Bayern has urged Sane to join the club, from president Uli Hoeness and club legend Lothar Matthaus to a host of players including Manuel Neuer, Niklas Sule and Serge Gnabry.
Sane has spent the last week on international duty with many Bayern players, with reports even suggesting Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretska were on a personal mission to persuade Sane to move to the Allianz Arena.
The winger had an inconsistent season in 2018/19, starting and ending the campaign out of favour with manager Pep Guardiola. But the club are still keen to tie him down to a new contract at the Etihad.
Sane responded well in his final games of the season at international level, scoring twice and providing an assist in two Euro 2020 qualifying victories.
After the 8-0 win over Estonia, Sane was asked by the German media about his future, but would not be drawn on where it lies.
He said: "I'm going on holiday now. Everything else will be seen."
When asked if that answer should give Bayern any hope, Sane simply responded: "That's it with the questions about Bayern Munich."
Teammate Goretzka was also asked about Sane's situation, saying: "No, I didn't bug him. I already had a situation in which I had to make a similar decision.
"I also made the experience for myself that you should meet in peace for yourself.
"Of course I talked to him about it and showed him that it wouldn't be a bad step. But I think he has to decide that for himself."
