Man City win the FA Cup to claim historic domestic treble

Manchester City made history at Wembley as they became the first English side to claim a domestic treble of the Premier League, Carabao Cup and FA Cup.

Having beaten Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final in February and defended their Premier League crown a week ago with a final day victory at Brighton, the Blues knew success over Watford would enter them into the record books.

Pep Guardiola's side made no mistake at the national stadium. First half goals from David Silva and Gabriel Jesus set them on their way.

Watford rallied early in the second half but Kevin De Bruyne came off the bench to score before Jesus grabbed a fourth goal. Raheem Sterling rounded of City's devastating win with a fifth and sixth late on.

City have won all four domestic trophies this season, having beaten Chelsea in the Community Shield in August. Guardiola has labelled the historic clean sweep as the 'mini quadruple'.
