Man City 'win' for the second time this weekend as Chelsea and Liverpool play out entertaining draw

Manchester City fans are all saying the same thing after Chelsea and Liverpool played out an entertaining draw at Stamford Bridge.

Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah put the Merseyside club into a commanding 2-0 lead by the midway point of the first half.

However, goals from Mateo Kovacic and Christian Pulisic before the break ensured that the two sides went in level.

In the second half Liverpool, who had the better chances to win the game, were denied notably by Edouard Mendy who foiled both a Salah 35-yard chip and a Mane strike.

Chelsea were also denied by stand-in goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher as the spoils were shared between the two clubs.

City fans could not help but point out that their side managed to become the beneficiaries of an entertaining game in London.

The result leaves the Citizens 10 points clear of Chelsea and 11 points clear of Liverpool albeit the Reds have played a game less than Pep Guardiola's men.
