Man City vs Spurs referee confirmed for Premier League game

The referee for Manchester City's home game against Tottenham Hotspur has been confirmed.

Michael Oliver will take charge of the game at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening.

Oliver, who is a a member of UEFA's elite group of referees, started the season by officiating Liverpool's 4-1 win over Norwich City.

The Northumberland official has been the man in the middle for 30 Man City games with City winning 22, drawing three and losing five times.

His last game in charge of the Blues was the 4-1 win against Brighton and Hove Albion on the last day of the 2018/19 season.

Oliver's assistants for the match will be Stuart Burt and Steve Bennett with Paul Tierney. Graham Scott will be the man with the VAR buttons with assistance from Andy Halliday.
