Man City vs Liverpool FC Premier League fixture rearranged

Manchester City's Premier League fixture against Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium has been rearranged for television broadcast.

The original date for the top of the table clash was April 4 but the game will now take place on April 5.

Kick off is changed from 3pm to 4:30pm and the game will be shown live on Sky Sports.

There is currently 12 games remaining in the season and Liverpool sit 22 points ahead of the Blues meaning Jurgen Klopp's men can secure the title at City's home, providing results fall into place.

Looking at the current fixture schedule, providing both Liverpool and Man City go unbeaten, the Merseyside club will be crowned champions at Anfield against Roy Hodgson's Crystal Palace on March 21 should they win.

Should Liverpool beat Chelsea and City beat Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup, their fixture against the Eagles will be rescheduled meaning the trophy could be won at the Etihad if Liverpool emerge victorious.

City's fixture against Brighton has also been rescheduled.

The game will now take place on April 25 with kick off coming at 5:30pm.

It will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
