Man City vs Chelsea lineups: Confirmed team news and starting XIs at the Etihad

Ederson returns for Manchester City in today's Premier League clash against Chelsea, with Christian Pulisic fit enough to start for the visitors.

Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson missed Man City's 3-1 defeat at Liverpool before the international break, with his deputee Claudio BRavo criticised for his performance.

But Ederson is back to boost Pep Guardiola for a must-win game at the Etihad, while Riyard Mahrez starts in place of the suspended Bernardo Silva.

As for Chelsea, Pulisic starts after recovering from a hip injury, though Mason Mount has to settle for a bench role - though Frank Lampard could be taking the decision not to risk the youngster after a couple of recent ankle injuries.

Man City XI: Ederson, Joao Cancelo, Stones, Fernandinho, Mendy, De Bruyne, Rodri, Silva, Mahrez, Aguero, Sterling

Subs: Bravo, Walker, Gundogan, Gabriel Jesus, Jose Angelino, Otamendi, Foden

Chelsea XI: Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Zouma, Tomori, Emerson Palmieri, Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Willian, Abraham, Pulisic

Subs: Christensen, Pedro, Caballero, Giroud, Mount, Batshuayi, James

Referee: Martin Atkinson
