Man City vs Chelsea FC: Prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news, lineups, h2h result, odds today

Manchester City and Chelsea are preparing to play out a dress rehearsal of the Champions League Final when they meet tonight at the Etihad.

Man City saw off Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday night, and Chelsea made light work of Real Madrid to make it an all-English final in Istanbul on May 29.

A quirk of the Premier League calendar means Pep Guardiola and Thomas Tuchel immediately face off after their midweek triumphs, though this game is more than just preparation for their Turkish delight.

Given Manchester United’s game against Liverpool was postponed last Sunday, a win over Chelsea would see City confirmed as Premier League champions.

As for Chelsea, they sit four points clear in fourth place, but a defeat could allow the likes of West Ham, Liverpool and Tottenham to put the pressure on in the final few games of the season.

Man City vs Chelsea prediction

Both managers know all eyes will be on this one ahead of the Champions League Final, so expect a tight contest with little given away.

The odd goal could decide things - as it did when Chelsea beat City in the FA CUp semi-finals back in April - but don’t be surprised by a stalemate in Manchester.
