Manchester City have officially unveiled their new Puma away kit ahead of the start of the 2022/23 season.
City, who will be aiming to make a winning start to their pre-season preparations when they face Club America on Thursday, have released their new away strip almost two months after they unveiled their new home kit for the forthcoming campaign. The away strip is made up of iconic red and black stripes, but in a diagonal design.
Featuring red and black stripes, which is a throwback to the iconic strip that City wore when they won the 1969 FA Cup final and the 1970 League Cup and European Cup Winners' Cup, the front of the shirt also features the Puma logo and City crest, designed in an eye-catching black and yellow. The Etihad Airways sponsor is also emblazoned across the front of the shirt.

Official shirt sleeve sponsor Nexen Tire also features on the shirt, taking up residency on a City strip for the third season running. The sponsor appears in yellow lettering on the left sleeve, just above another Puma logo.
City, who will be aiming to retain the Premier League title for a third season running this forthcoming campaign, will wear the strip for the first time when they face Club America in Houston. City are likely to wear their home strip for the first time when they face Bayern Munich later in the week, but official details on that front are yet to be confirmed.
