Manchester City's hunt for a new striker looks set to continue in the new year.
With the January transfer window set to open, Pep Guardiola could enter the market to sign a forward after missing out on Spurs striker Harry Kane over the summer.
And with a number of alternative targets currently being evaluated, City goalkeeper Ederson has waded in to tell his boss which player he'd most like to see at the club – and it's one of his Brazil international teammates.
Another forward who is currently firing on all cylinders in Serie A could be set to snub interest from the club, however, while one forgotten City star could be on their way to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The player is currently on loan at Sporting Lisbon but Record reports that Madrid could move to sign the player before his loan deal is made permanent.
But, the report adds that the Portuguese champions have an agreement in place to sign Porro until 2025 if they trigger a clause in the player's loan deal.
Leao 'to snub City interest'
AC Milan striker Rafael Leao appears set to snub interest from Manchester City to sign a new contract with the Italian giants, according to reports.
The striker is apparently ready to commit his long-term future to the San Siro outfit and sign a four-and-a-half-year deal, Calciomercato reports.
Leao's agent Jorge Mendes, who also represents City's Portuguese trio Joao Cancelo, Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva, is said to currently be involved in negotiations with Milan.
Ederson tells Brazil pal to join
