Pep Guardiola’s pre-season preparations will see Manchester City take part in the Premier League Asia Trophy in China this summer.
Guardiola’s quadruple-chasing side will join Newcastle, West Ham and Wolves in the tournament – playing in Shanghai and Nanjing.
City will also play sister team Yokohama F Marinos in Japan as part of their Far East tour.
City’s chief operating officer Omar Berrada said: “We are delighted to return to China and take part in the Premier League Asia Trophy. China is a special place for City – it’s where Pep Guardiola began his City tenure in 2016 and we have a huge number of passionate followers across the country.
“We’re looking forward to hosting exciting events in China and welcoming local fans to our matches.”
City will play a semi-final in Nanjing’s Olympic Sports Centre on July 17, before a third-place play-off or final in Shanghai’s Hongkou Stadium on July 20.
They face Yokohama F Marinos at the Nissan Stadium on July 27.
Premier League sides are in the process of finalising pre-season plans for the summer.
Manchester United are also heading to the Far East as well as Australia after spending the last two years in America.
United are expected to announce a return to China, where they last visited in 2016, at an International Champions Cup launch on Wednesday.
