Man City team vs Wolves confirmed as Kevin de Bruyne and Raheem Sterling start

Pep Guardiola has named a strong line up to face Wolves in their second pre-season fixture of 2019 as Kevin de Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane all start.

City take on Wolves in the final of the Premier League Asia Trophy in Shanghai after goals from David Silva, Lukas Nmecha and Raheem Sterling saw off West Ham earlier this week.

A youthful City side had been made to work by West Ham in the first half in Nanjing, but Sterling, De Bruyne and Sane came on in the second half to make the game safe.

And Pep Guardiola has rewarded his second half performers against Wolves, as the likes of John Stones and Oleks Zinchenko also start.

In defence, Stones replaces Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Angelino is on the bench after a disappointing debut.

Rodri maintains his place in midfield, but Tommy Doyle and David Silva miss out with De Bruyne coming in. Adria Bernabe keeps his place, seemingly operating from a central role.

And upfront Ian Poveda is the only survivor, with Sterling and Sane completing the line-up.

Full Man City starting XI vs Wolves: Bravo, Danilo, Stones, Laporte, Zinchenko, Rodrigo, De Bruyne (C), Bernabe, Sane, Poveda-Ocampo, Sterling.

Substitutes: Grimshaw, Walker, Gundogan, Angelino, Bernardo, D Silva, Nmecha, Touaizi, Pozo, Doyle, A Garcia, Harwood-Bellis, Diounkou, Knight.
