Man City team vs West Brom includes Riyad Mahrez but no Gabriel Jesus

Pep Guardiola has named a strong Manchester City side to face West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League tonight.

After making ten changes for the FA Cup win at Cheltenham this weekend, Guardiola has recalled a number of those rested on Saturday as City look to move top of the Premier League.

Guardiola needed Joao Cancelo, Ilkay Gundogan and Ruben Dias off the bench at Cheltenham after City fell behind, and all three start at the Hawthorns after turning the game around last time out.

Ederson retakes his place in goal after dropping out for the FA Cup, with a defence infront of him of Joao Cancelo, John Stones, Ruben Dias and Aleks Zinchenko.

Kyle Walker returns to the bench after missing the Cheltenham trip through injury, while John Stones was rested for that one for rotation purposes, replacing Aymeric Laporte.

Into midfield, and Rodri is back in place of Fernandinho, and the absence of Kevin De Bruyne sees Bernardo and Ilkay Gundogan team up in the centre.

In attack Gabriel Jesus drops to the bench, with only two players remaining from the Cheltenham game - Mahrez and Foden. They are joined in a front three by Raheem Sterling.

On the bench, Kyle Walker, Ferran Torres and Jesus are the standout inclusions.

Man City team vs West Brom: Ederson, Cancelo, Dias, Stones, Zinchenko, Gundogan, Rodrigo, Mahrez, Bernardo, Foden, Sterling (C)

Substitutes: Steffen, Walker, Jesus, Laporte, Torres, Mendy, Fernandinho, Garcia, Bernabe
