John Stones is not in the squad for Manchester City's match against West Brom on Tuesday, though Phil Foden has returned to the starting XI.
City will be looking to return to winning ways at the Etihad after they once again failed to string three victories together on Saturday after they drew in an extremely dull encounter with fierce rivals Manchester United.
Inconsistency has plagued the Blues throughout the season but a win over 19th placed West Brom would see them climb to within three points of Premier League leaders Liverpool and Tottenham - who play each other on Wednesday - with a game in hand.
Pep Guardiola has opted to make four changes from the goalless stalemate at Old Trafford with the most notable being the inclusion of Foden from the off, in place of Riyad Mahrez.
The talented midfielder hasn't started in the league since October 17, being mostly used in the Champions League instead, but now has a chance to prove he should be a more regular fixture in the team.
Stones, who continued his resurgence at the weekend, has been left out tonight though there is no injury issue while Kyle Walker has been benched, with Nathan Ake and Benjamin Mendy replacing them.
The final change sees a straight swap with Ilkay Gundogan for Fernandinho in the middle of the park, with Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri, Ruben Dias, Joao Cancelo and Ederson all keeping their spots.
In a boost on the injury front, Sergio Aguero has been named amongst the substitutes. The striker made a goalscoring return to action off the bench against Marseille last week but missed out on the derby due to illness.
