Man City team vs Burnley in Premier League includes Phil Foden and Sergio Aguero

Pep Guardiola has made eight changes to his Manchester City side for the visit of Burnley in the Premier League, with Phil Foden and Sergio Aguero coming in.

Guardiola saw his side comfortably beat Arsenal last week, using the maximum 16 players available to him. The rotation continues tonight as he names an entirely different back four.

City are without Eric Garcia, who is sidelined following the concussion he received in the closing stages of that Arsenal game, so Nicolas Otamendi replaces him in defence, with Fernandinho alongside him as Aymeric Laporte drops to the bench.

Joao Cancelo and Aleks Zinchenko replace Kyle Walker and Benjamin Mendy in the full-back positions.

In midfield, David Silva keeps his place, with Foden replacing Kevin de Bruyne and Rodri preferred in the holding role to Ilkay Gundogan.

Leroy Sane is once again on the bench after Guardiola confirmed that the winger will not sign a new contract at City and could leave the club this summer. His long-term injury has kept him out of contention until the re-start and he was an unused substitute on Wednesday.

Confirmed Man City XI vs Burnley: Ederson, Cancelo, Otamendi, Fernandinho, Zinchenko, Rodrigo, D Silva (C), Foden, Bernardo, Mahrez, Aguero

Substitutes: Carson, Walker, Sterling, Gundogan, G Jesus, Laporte, De Bruyne, Sane, Mendy
