Man City 'swap deal', Juventus midfielder linked and other Everton transfer rumours rated

Mason Holgate

Who?

Everton defender who has been excellent since the turn of the year.

Where?

Football Insider claim Manchester City are plotting a move for the Blues centre-back, Mason Holgate. And could offer former player John Stones in a rumoured swap deal.

What?

Holgate committed his future to Everton in March when he signed a new contract keeping him at the club until 2025.

The 23-year-old is very much a part of Carlo Ancelotti's plans moving forward.

In February when Holgate was linked with City, the Italian manager said: "I think it’s a rumour, but if it’s not a rumour I can say Mason Holgate is an important part of the future of Everton.

“There is no possibility he can go to another club. Zero possibility, like my friend (Jose) Mourinho says: ‘Zero’.”

Adrien Rabiot

Who?

Juventus and France midfielder.

Where?

Sports Lens cite TMW as claiming that Everton have had informal talks with the 25-year-old over a potential move.

What?

The Blues have been repeatedly linked with Rabiot for months now. Whether Ancelotti is interested in acquiring the Frenchman remains to be seen.

Gabriel Magalhaes

Who?

Brazilian Lille defender.

Where?

Fichajes.net via the Daily Mail suggest Tottenham have now made a bid of £27m for the rumoured Everton target.

What?

Gabriel has been linked with a move to Goodison Park for a while now but if a move is to come off the Blues look set to face some serious competition.
