Man City starting line up vs Marseille includes Aymeric Laporte and Kevin De Bruyne

Pep Guardiola has named defender Aymeric Laporte in Manchester City's starting line-up to face Marseille in the Champions League.

Laporte has not featured since the international break, and returns alongside Ruben Dias in City's defence at the Stade Velodrome.

Kyle Walker, who was replaced at West Ham over the weekend for fitness reasons, starts again, with Aleks Zinchenko making his first start of the season at left-back.

In midfield, Kevin De Bruyne returns after coming off the bench for his own return from injury at West Ham. Alongside him are Rodri and Ilkay Gundogan.

And up front, Raheem Sterling is once again picked to lead the line as Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus did not travel due to injury problems.

Ferran Torres gets a start after his impressive substitute appearance in the first Champions League gameweek win over Porto. He was unlucky not to play any part in the West Ham draw, but will be fresh to cause Marseille problems. Phil Foden is rewarded for his goal at West Ham with a start.

On the bench Bernardo Silva, Riyad Mahrez and Joao Cancelo are available to Guardiola, who can make five substitutes due to Champions League rules.

Man City starting XI vs Marseille: Ederson, Walker, Dias, Laporte, Zinchenko, Rodrigo, Gundogan, De Bruyne (C), Torres, Foden, Sterling.

Substitutes: Steffen, Carson, Stones, Bernardo, Mahrez, Cancelo, Garcia, Nmecha, Doyle, Harwood-Bellis, Palmer, Bernabe
