Man City star Raheem Sterling's brutal response to Daniel Sturridge's photo with Kylian Mbappe

Man City star Raheem Sterling had a brilliant response to former Blue and Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge posting a photo with Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe.

Sturridge will leave Champions League winners Liverpool this summer after six years at Anfield but he's not looking overly concerned about finding a new club while posing for a photo with Mbappe.

At only 20-years of age the PSG striker is already regarded as one of the best players in the world thanks to frightening speed and mesmerising skill which has already helped France lift the World Cup.

The pair posed for a photo which Sturridge posted on his Instagram account with the caption: "Serious baller, Kylian Mbappe.

"His mom said he used to do my celebration and he showed me so I did his too. I remember when I used to do the [Faustino, former Newcastle striker] Asprilla cartwheel."

Before a long line of injuries began to seriously hamper his career, Sturridge was a brilliant forward who was clinical in front of goal and nearly fired Liverpool to their first Premier League title in 2014, alongside Sterling.

So it's of little surprise that the City man sarcastically comment on the post: "Eewww what a partnership that would be."

It was accompanied by an upside-down smiling face and a single flame emoji.
