Man City star Raheem Sterling reveals where he sends his hat-trick balls

Raheem Sterling is clearly planning on quite a few more hat-tricks after revealing what he does with the match balls he collects.

The Manchester City striker sank Atalanta with three goals inside 11 minutes to become only the eighth English player to bag a treble in the Champions League.

And he revealed that he sends the match balls he collects to his mum’s house in Jamaica, where there are special cases for housing them.

Sterling is clearly confident that there are a few more treble hits to come, as he has already ordered SIX more cases for housing the balls.

The 24-year-old was thrown the ball at the end of a game in which he also claimed an assist and won a penalty.

And afterwards he told uefa.com that he has a special place for the balls.

“My mum’s house in Jamaica … I put them in a little glass box. I’ve bought an extra six cases just in case I do score a hat-trick so I can put it straight in a case and give it to her.”
