Raheem Sterling feels 'honoured' to have joined Alan Shearer, Wayne Rooney and other Premier League greats in the 100 club.
The 26-year-old has found himself cast aside by Manchester City either side of his Euro 2020 heroics.
However, after recovering from that selection setback, the England forward continues to perform and proved to be the difference in a hard-fought victory over Wolves this lunchtime.
Sterling netted the winner after 66 minutes from the penalty spot.
It was a decision that required VAR intervention, but the initial call made by referee Jonathan Moss at the Etihad was upheld and Sterling did the rest from 12 yards.
He has scored seven goals in all competition this season - while this Premier League milestone has come after 303 outings for Liverpool and City.
Speaking post-match to BT Sport, the Londoner said: "It's a lovely achievement and some fantastic players have [done it] so I'm really honoured to be in there."

Sterling added: "Every time we play Wolves at home, it's always a difficult game.
"With their 10 men they kept it really tight, but we knew if we keep playing we would get an opportunity and we did. Each game brings its own challenges.
"We keep saying; 'The next game, the next game' and that's all we can keep doing."
