Man City star Kevin De Bruyne sends Manchester United Jadon Sancho transfer message

Kevin De Bruyne only trained briefly with Jadon Sancho when the pair shared a dressing room at Manchester City but the Belgian saw enough to realise how good the teenager was.

Sancho occasionally trained with the Blues' first team during De Bruyne's first two years at the Etihad, before the winger moved to Borussia Dortmund for £8million in the summer of 2017.

Since then Sancho has gone from strength to strength, becoming the hottest prospect in European football and an England regular at the age of 19.

He could return to Manchester this summer, but at Old Trafford rather than the Etihad, with United keen on making Sancho a key piece of their rebuild under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

It may cost the club in excess of £100million to sign Sancho but De Bruyne knows just how good a player he is, as he revealed during an Instragram Live Q&A with Belgium teammates Romelu Lukaku and Axel Witsel.

“He is crazy. It’s weird, I trained a few times with him and he was gone. Unbelievable," De Bruyne said of Sancho, who left City at 17.

“Sometimes it goes like this but it is good for him. Now if you want him you have to pay… I don’t want to know!”

Sancho has 14 goals and 16 assists in 23 Bundesliga games this season and he seems likely to leave Dortmund this summer, with United leading the chase to bring him back to the Premier League.
