Man City star Kevin De Bruyne given new trait on FIFA 19 - but it's not good news

Man City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne looked back to his very best in the games against Crystal Palace and Tottenham, before another injury blow left his season in doubt.

The Belgian's season has been plagued by injur, with various knee problems and his latest, a hamstring strain which he suffered in the Champions League quarter-final second-leg defeat to Spurs.

The midfielder is now set to miss a crucial Manchester Derby on Wednesday, in what could be a pivotal game in the Premier League title race.

In the latest FIFA 19 ratings update, EA Sports have given De Bruyne a new trait in-game - but it's not a good thing by any means.

Here are the latest changes to De Bruyne's profile on FIFA 19 as of April 18 2019.

Man City star Raheem Sterling's anti-racism manifesto is brilliant - but he shouldn't have to do it

Overall ability: 91

Potential ability: 92

Best attributes: Vision (94), crossing (93), short passing (92), shot power (91), long passing (91), ball control (91), reactions (91), composure (90), stamina (89).

De Bruyne is one of the best players on FIFA 19, with a rating of 91 overall.

He has the joint-highest overall rating of any Premier League player on the game, level with Eden Hazard and David De Gea.

His technical ability, mixed with his physical attributes, make him a great player to use in-game.

In the latest update however, EA Sports have added a new threat to his game, and it's not good news.

The Belgian has now been given the 'Injury Prone' attributes, after his injury problems in the 2019/19 campaign.

According to EA Sports, "A player with this Trait has an increased chance of getting injured when a collision occurs."

So when playing as De Bruyne in-game, you will have to be careful not to get him involved in too many incidents, or he may have to be subbed off, particularly in career mode or kick-off mode.

This unfortunate trait is added to his current traits, which are 'Leadership', 'Early Crosser', 'Long Passer (CPU AI Only)', 'Long Shot Taker (CPU AI Only)' and 'Playmaker (CPU AI Only)'.

Will this new trait put you off using De Bruyne on FIFA 19?
