Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan says Liverpool should be handed the Premier League title should the season be unable to be restarted.
The Reds have a 25 point lead at the summit, with the campaign currently halted due to coronavirus.
The authority's preference is to continue the season once it is safe to do so, though there have been calls to make the season null and void from some quarters, with concerns around the length of the delay.
But Germany international Gundogan said, via Goal : "It would be okay for me [If Liverpool are handed the title], you have to be sporting."
Manchester City have won each of the last two Premier League titles, beating Liverpool to the prize by a single point last season.
They are said to be keen on the season resuming even though they are unlikely to retain their crown, with their Champions League progression to the quarter-finals already secured.
Guardiola is yet to win that tournament with the Citizens and they are the favourites to take home the 2019/20 prize.
