Man City stance on Harry Winks transfer as Tottenham prepare Milan Skriniar swoop

Here is your Tottenham morning digest for Saturday, August 15.

Man City stance on Winks transfer

Harry Winks will not be moving from Spurs to Man City this summer, amid reports of interest in the 24-year-old from Pep Guardiola's side.

It was claimed that the Man City boss was lining up a move for the England international midfielder, with Spurs willing to listen to offers in the region of £40 million in order to raise funds for more signing in the transfer window.

However, as reported by the Manchester Evening News , Man City have no intention of making a move for the player with the club seeing no need to add to the defensive midfield position in this transfer window.

City spent a club record £62 million on Rodri this time last year, and also have Ilkay Gundogan who is able to play in the position.

Amazon announce All or Nothing release date

The Amazon Prime cameras have been following the Tottenham team all season, a season like no other as it has been billed in their trailer, and the release date has been revealed.

It has been a season that has had everything, with Mauricio Pochettino being sacked in November, just months after taking the club to the Champions League final, and replaced by Jose Mourinho.

The official trailer for the documentary series shows Mourinho being asked what people think of him, and what is true about him, while there are big highs and lows captured too.

The series will air on Amazon Prime for the first time on August 31.

Milan Skriniar offer 'next week'

FC Inter News have offered an intriguing update on Tottenham's reported chase for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar, with it suggested an approach to the defender will be made next week.

Inter are keen on Spurs midfielder Tanguy Ndombele and it has been suggested that the Frenchman could be used as a makeweight in a deal taking Skriniar to North London.

Antonio Conte is keen to sign the Spurs midfielder but any possible deal will depend on the former Chelsea boss staying put at the San Siro as he gets set for showdown talks with the club’s hierarchy.

The report claims that Mourinho wants to bring Skriniar to North London as Vertonghen’s replacement, with the Nerazzurri boss reportedly viewing the Slovak as dispensable.
