Man City 'set Gabriel Jesus asking price' amid Inter Milan speculation and more transfer rumours

Manchester City will demand at least £63million for Gabriel Jesus amid speculation of Inter Milan's interest, according to reports.

Jesus made the switch to the Etihad in 2017 and has since developed into a quality striker in the Premier League, bagging 63 goals for City in his 140 appearances.

Despite his talent, however, the Brazilian has been unable to consistently hold down a sport in the starting XI due to the evergreen brilliance of Sergio Aguero.

While Jesus has never shown any ill-feelings about being behind City's top goalscorer in the pecking order, that hasn't stopped speculation about a move away.

He has been repeatedly linked with a move to Juventus and his agent, Giovanni Branchini, also refused to rule out a transfer to the Old Lady in the future but confirmed he would not leave the Blues unless he wasn't wanted.

The latest club to be linked with Jesus is another Serie A giant in Inter who, according to Sport Mediaset, see him as a potential replacement for Lautaro Martinez, who they could lose this summer.

However, it's claimed that the Blues will set their asking price at £63million to put off the Milan side and will also offer Jesus a new contract with a hefty pay rise to convince him to stay.

Meanwhile, City have reportedly turned their attention to Bayer Leverkusen star Leon Bailey to replace Leroy Sane.

It was the worst kept secret in football but Pep Guardiola confirmed on Friday that Sane will not be extending his contract with the club, with a move to Bayern Munich extremely likely.

According to FootMercato, via SportWitness, Guardiola has spoken to Bailey about a potential move and that the Jamaican international is excited at the prospect.
