Man City send bizarre 'justice' tweet after equalising against Liverpool

Manchester City have posted a rather bizarre tweet during their draw with Liverpool in the Premier League.

The Reds were held to a 2-2 draw with the reigning league champions at Anfield, maintaining their unbeaten start to the campaign.

Sadio Mane gave the home side the lead shortly before the hour mark, before Phil Foden equalised soon after.

Mohamed Salah then restored Liverpool’s lead with a sublime individual goal, but a Kevin De Bruyne equaliser saw the points shared.

Shortly before Salah’s goal, Man City boss Pep guardiola was unhappy after James Milner was not shown a second yellow card.

After Salah found the back of the net, Guardiola was booked by referee Paul Tierney for his reaction.

Then, when De Bruyne scored, Man City’s Twitter account posted a tweet confirming the goal, but used a rather bizarre wording.

The account simply wrote: “Justice,” implying that Man City had somehow been wronged by how the game had previously panned out.

A point leaves Liverpool in second place in the Premier League table, one point behind leaders Chelsea going into the October international break.
