Man City secure signing of well-renowned Italy shot-stopper

  • Manchester City have completed the deadline-day signing of Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma from Paris St Germain for approximately £25.9m.
  • Donnarumma, 26, has agreed a five-year contract with an option for a further 12 months.
  • The acquisition of Donnarumma was contingent on City's regular number one, Ederson, departing the club.
  • Ederson is expected to finalise a move to Turkish club Fenerbahce for around 11.2m-12.1m.
  • City also secured a loan deal for Switzerland defender Manuel Akanji from Inter Milan and loaned full-back Issa Kabore to Wrexham.
