Manchester City's Raheem Sterling is now the clear favourite to win the European Championship Player of the Tournament award.
Sterling endured a turbulent campaign at City after struggling to reach the lofty heights of seasons gone by.
But he's remarkably rediscovered his best form at Euro 2020 with England, becoming the catalyst for his nation's progress to the last four.
The 26-year-old has provided the Three Lions with goals against Croatia, the Czech Republic and Germany before proving a menacing threat once again in the quarter-final win over Ukraine, expertly assisting Harry Kane for the opening goal in Rome.
Sterling's return to form could force his way back into Pep Guardiola 's immediate plans if he continues in this vein, which should help City defend their Premier League title.
While Kylian Mbappe and teammate Kevin De Bruyne were once the favourites to win the Euro 2020 player of the tournament award, Sterling has now become the bookmakers' favourite — and would surely make a worthy winner of the individual honour. Kane and Denmark's Simon Kjaer are behind Sterling in the market.
