Manchester City are planning to 'mend their relationship' with agent Mino Raiola in an attempt to bolster their chances of signing Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
City, who will resume their Premier League campaign with a clash against Burnley at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon, have frequently been linked with a move for the Norway international in recent months.
City, who were keen to sign Harry Kane during the summer to fill the void that had been vacated by Sergio Aguero at the end of last season, are continuing to be linked with a whole host of different strikers, including Haaland, who is on the radar of a number of big-name European heavyweights.
It was recently reported that City are 'ready' to sign Haaland when the release clause in his contract comes into effect next summer, which is understood to be around £65million.
However, in a bid to bolster their chances of luring the Leeds-born goal-getter to the Etihad Stadium, City are keen to improve their ties with Raiola, who is also the agent of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
That is according to Norwegian football expert Andreas Korssund, as cited by Fan Nation.
The likes of United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have also been heavily linked with the former Red Bull Salzburg striker's services.
Meanwhile, winger Raheem Sterling is not prepared to commit his future to City until he receives assurances about his position in the club's future plans.
That is according to a report by The Sun, who claims that Sterling is wanting to hold talks with Pep Guardiola about his future at the club.
The England international has been restricted to just two starts in the Premier League so far this season, meaning a degree of uncertainty surrounds his future.
Jack Grealish and Phil Foden have been preferred to Sterling on the left wing recently, sparking further speculation that he may be forced to leave the club to secure more regular first-team football.
