Man City's next six Premier League fixtures compared to Liverpool FC and Chelsea

Manchester City will be heading into the next six Premier League matches with sky-high confidence after dispatching Chelsea at the Etihad.

A beautiful Kevin de Bruyne strike against his old club moved City 13 points clear of Chelsea in the Premier League table.

Liverpool lie 11 points behind the leaders with a game in hand on City.

With that in mind MEN Sport has taken a look at City's next six Premier League matches as they look to distance themselves further from the chasing pack.

Southampton at St Mary's Stadium

A trip to the south coast awaits City next in the Premier League.

Ralph Hasenhuttl's side are enjoying a mid-table season so far and look to have secured enough points to survive.

City will be wary of the Saints after they failed to break them down at the Etihad earlier in the campaign.

Brentford at Etihad Stadium

Following their fourth-round FA Cup clash with Fulham, City will face Brentford at home.

Over the Christmas period, Pep Guardiola's side managed to grind out a 1-0 victory in London.

City will be mindful of the threat Thomas Frank's side pose.

Norwich City at Carrow Road

The Canaries are struggling at the wrong end of the Premier League table and it looks like Dean Smith may have bitten off more than he can chew.

However victory over Everton in their last game could give them a boost moving into their next run of fixtures.

Guardiola's men should be winning this one comfortably if they hope to lift the title in May.

Tottenham Hotspur at Etihad Stadium

A trip to Sporting Lisbon in the first leg of their Champions League tie precedes this clash with Spurs.

Antonio Conte's team have visions of a return to the Champions League themselves.

Sitting just outside the top four, this match is sure to be a cracker.

Everton at Goodison Park

Everton have been pretty shocking this season under the stewardship of Rafa Benitez.

But the Spaniard has now been sacked from the Merseyside club so the Toffees could be an altogether different proposition come February.

Pep Guardiola may even be pitting his wits against Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney if the bookies are to be believed.

Manchester United at Etihad Stadium

Speaking of United, they will be the visitors to the Etihad in the beginning of March.

The Reds have been less than impressive so far under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick.

But the form book goes out the window in the derby so anything could happen.

Here's how those fixtures compare to their title rivals:
