Manchester City have the luxury of having one less fixture compared to Premier League title rivals Liverpool and Chelsea in the coming three weeks.
City are on a seven-game winning run in all competitions, which has seen them top their Champions League group and leapfrog Chelsea to top the Premier League after 15 games.
There are just two points separating the top three, and coming up is a busy fixture schedule where everything can change in the next five league fixtures before the New Year.
All three sides have a final Champions League group game coming up, with City and Liverpool guaranteed top spot in their groups, and Chelsea facing a last-fixture showdown to try and finish top ahead of Juventus.
Then, the Premier League returns at the weekend, with City's fixture list potentially easier than their rivals' - particularly when their lack of Carabao Cup quarter-final is considered.
The next six games take us up to the new year, when 2022 opens with a showdown between Chelsea and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
