Bernardo Silva believes that if he speaks about the incident involving his handball before Liverpool's opening goal against Manchester City he "will be in trouble".
Fabinho hit a stunning 25-yard effort to open the scoring for Liverpool after six minutes, just 22 seconds after the visitors claimed they should have had a penalty when the ball struck Trent Alexander-Arnold on the hand.
However, VAR backed the decision of referee Michael Oliver and his on-field officials - with Bernardo having also handled a split-second before.
The City midfielder was asked about the incident after his side were subjected to a 3-1 defeat at Anfield by the European champions.
"If I speak, I'll be in trouble," he told Sky Sports.
"I don't want to speak."
The decision of no penalty left City boss Pep Guardiola fuming after the game as the Reds opened up a nine-point lead over his side who now sit fourth in the Premier League table.
