Man City's Aymeric Laporte posts hilarious tweet after Spain's win at Euro 2020

Aymeric Laporte took to Twitter following Spain's 5-0 over Slovakia in the two nations final Group E game of Euro 2020.

The Manchester City player scored the second goal of the game with a header - his first for the country.

He tweeted a picture of him smiling and holding the Man of the Match award, but he wasn't actually given the award.

The accolade actually belonged to Spain teammate Sergio Busquets and, as expected, Laporte received multiple tweets off followers confused as to why he was holding the trophy and the use of the caption.

The centre-back replied to his own tweet two minutes later, saying he wasn't in fact the Man of the Match.
