Man City release ticket and travel details for Champions League final

Manchester City have released more details for how supporters can attend the Champions League final in Porto.

The majority of the 5,850 fans allowed to attend will have to travel on an official club trip, which includes a return flight from Manchester and transport to the stadium fan park accompanied by local guides and club stewards.

All flights will leave on Saturday May 29 - the day of the game - although some may not get back until mid-morning on Sunday May 30 after the game. Match tickets will be distributed on the aircraft and all travel costs have been paid for by City owner Sheikh Mansour.

The club have also agreed with UEFA that a "limited number of match tickets" will be available to those making their own way to Portugal, with these supporters having to receive their match tickets in the post before they travel.

However supporters make their way to the game, they must all comply with the conditions set for international travel by the UK government - more details can be found here.

The cheapest match tickets (Category 4) cost £60 but rise steeply to an eye-watering £515 for Category 1 tickets, with £386.50 (Category 2) and £154.50 (Category 3) between. Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Thursday May 20 to 2019/20 seasoncard holders on the cup scheme with 23,500 or more points and more windows will open every two hours between working hours as long as there is still availability.
