Man City and Pep Guardiola receive quadruple injury boost ahead of Tottenham triple header

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City go head-to-head in the Premier League and Champions League over the next few weeks with as many as three games on the agenda.

Already facing a trip to the Etihad Stadium in the league towards the end of April, the Lilywhites were paired against City in the Champions League quarter-finals following the draw in Switzerland.

Pep Guardiola's side have had the upper hand in the previous three meetings and they will go into the games as the favourites given their impressive form of late.

City have a number of players out injured at present but it seems that their problems are easing ahead of a crucial month for the team.

As well as looking to win the Champions League for the very first time, City are also targeting back-to-back Premier League titles as they trail Liverpool by two points with eight games of the season remaining.

Well, it appears they will be back to full strength very soon with Kevin De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Benjamin Mendy and John Stones all involved in training on Monday ahead of this weekend's game against Fulham.

De Bruyne has not featured since the start of March due to a hamstring injury, with fellow midfielder Fernandinho out since February due to a muscle injury.

Mendy has only appeared once since November after two injury-hit campaigns since his move from Monaco, while Stones also missed the international break due to a groin injury.

The return of the quartet comes as a big boost to Guardiola and it appears likely that they will feature against the Lilywhites over the coming weeks.

Aymeric Laporte was also spotted in training but he featured in their last game before the international break against Swansea City in the FA Cup.
