Man City 'possible destination' for Robert Lewandowski and more transfer rumours

The agent of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has reportedly claimed that Manchester City is a 'possible destination' for the Poland international.

That is according to a report by Sport Bild who claim that Lewandowski's agent Pini Zahavi believes making the move to the Etihad Stadium is a possibility for his client.

After failed attempts to bring Harry Kane to the club during the summer transfer window, City, who will resume their Premier League campaign with a tussle against Burnley on Saturday afternoon, are likely to be on the hunt for a striker again next year, whether it be in the January or summer transfer window.

While links with Kane have persisted, City have also been touted with a major interest in Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund.

Now, though, it is being claimed that Lewandowski — who has worked with City chief Pep Guardiola at Bayern — could be another candidate to spearhead the club's attacking line.

The 33-year-old is not out of contract at Bayern until the summer of 2023, but he has previously admitted that he would like to sample the experience of playing in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Juventus are planning to make a January 'swoop' for City midfielder Bernardo Silva, a report by The Sun claims.

The Portugal international's future was under the spotlight for much of the summer transfer window, with an exit seemingly almost certain.

However, the former AS Monaco man has proven to be a key player for Guardiola so far this season in the centre of midfield, opposed to playing out wide on the right-wing.

Juventus are said to be 'monitoring' Bernardo's situation at the Etihad Stadium, but insists that City will 'fight off' any interest that comes their way.
