Man City players travel to London for Carabao Cup final vs Aston Villa

Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City players made their way to London late on Saturday afternoon ahead of Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Aston Villa .

With it being final day, City have taken the majority of their senior players down to the capital for the match, including injured defender Aymeric Laporte.

Aleks Zinchenko and John Stones weren't involved in Wednesday's victory over Real Madrid but are in contention to play at Wembley after making the trip, as well as young defender Eric Garcia.

Despite suffering a hamstring injury that has ruled him out of the game and the next few weeks of action, Laporte has made the journey to cheer on his teammates.

The only players not spotted by photographers were Leroy Sane, who is already in London after making his comeback from injury in an Under-23s game against Arsenal at the Emirates on Friday, and right-back Joao Cancelo.

City will be looking to pick up their first piece of silverware of the season and win the trophy for a third successive time, following victories over Arsenal and Chelsea in the last two finals.

The Blues will go into the game full of confidence having picked up an historic win over Madrid in the Champions League after coming from a goal down at the Bernabeu in mid-week.

City have also had the Villans' number this season, having beaten them by an aggregate score of 9-1 across their two Premier League meetings.

Villa, on the other hand, have had over a week to rest and prepare for the match but lost to Southampton last time out in a relegation scrap.

Travelling City squad vs Aston Villa
