“I think it will be another intense game. If you believe that Wednesday’s result doesn’t hurt or that we can just forget it, I will say 'no'.

“That is not the truth – we are human beings. We have to live with it and we have to compete with feeling.

“What we lived on Wednesday, in terms of emotions, was incredible. We are fortunate to have lived it.

“People cannot expect that it’s over. It will remain in our hearts. It’s a pity, but the performance was incredible in that stage, at that level.

“I don’t want to see my players saying it doesn’t matter. I want to see them react to the hurt.

“We will try to play our game at 12:30 here at the Etihad Stadium.”
