Man City player ratings vs Inter in Champions League final as Ederson and John Stones brilliant

Ederson: Erratic in the first half but made up for it in the second with some important stops. 9

Akanji: Nearly let Martinez in with a shocking leave but then played the key ball for the goal. 6

Dias: Led by example at the back, letting nothing past him. The best player after Stones. 8

Ake: Showed why he started, a cool head happy to get physical at the back and comfortable supporting Grealish. 7

Rodri: His performance was about a 4/10 but scoring the winner in the Champions League final deserves some serious clout. 7

Stones: Sometimes an individual performance feels completely removed from team and game, and Stones was outstanding where everything around him wasn't. 9

Gundogan: Kept trying to encourage the team and made some meaty challenges but couldn't support the attack. 6

De Bruyne: It is horrible luck to suffer injury in another Champions League final, but he really struggled before he came off. 4

Bernardo: Did well for the goal and worked well with Stones on the right. 7

Grealish: Won some fouls holding up the ball but otherwise had a quiet night. 6

Haaland: Helped out in his own box to defence City's lead but could have been more clinical at the other end. 6

Substitutes

Foden (for De Bruyne, 36) Made a difference when he came on and could have scored a second. 7

Walker (for Stones, 82)

Not used: Ortega, Carson, Laporte, Gomez, Lewis, Perrone, Phillips, Palmer, Alvarez, Mahrez
