Man City player ratings vs PSG: Ruben Dias and John Stones superb as City reach Champions League final

Ederson: An assured presence in goal all night, handled well in difficult conditions but his biggest contribution was the booming pass to Zinchenko that helped create the first goal. 7

Walker: Saw off the threat of Di Maria in the first half and was a composed defensive presence all night, even if he was overshadowed by his colleagues. 7

Stones: Defended with maturity and composure against Neymar and there can be no bigger praise than that. Another excellent night in a season full of them. 9

Dias: An absolute warrior and the leader of this defence. Produced several excellent blocks and forced Icardi out of the game. It felt he was a magnet to the ball at times. 9

Zinchenko: Won the battle to start ahead of Cancelo and vindicated that decision with a fine display. Good defensively and a fine contribution for the opening goal. 8

Fernandinho: A surprise starter on his 36th birthday and his experience when City were under pressure was vital. Tried to help double up on Neymar. 7

Gundogan: Used the ball well and tried to offer a route out of the PSG press, which was energetic in the first half. 7

De Bruyne: Excellent link-up with Foden for City's second goal, but missed a couple of opportunities to set the Blues on a counter in the first half. 7

Mahrez: Scored three of City's four goals in this tie and took his two at the Etihad very well. A real threat all night. 8

Foden: Got better and better as the game went on. A quiet start but some stunning skill brought him to life. Fine assist for Mahrez and unlucky not to score himself. 8

Bernardo: Took up some clever positions to try and drag the PSG defence out of position. 7

Substitutes:

Jesus (for De Bruyne 82)

Sterling (for Bernardo 82)

Aguero (for Foden 85)

Subs not used: Steffen, Carson, Ake, Sterling, Jesus, Aguero, Laporte, Rodri, Torres, Mendy, Cancelo
