Man City make Sergio Ramos enquiry and more transfer rumours

Manchester City have made enquiries to sign Sergio Ramos this summer.

That is according to ESPN who report their sources have indicated Ramos is now considering offers from the Blues, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich after it was announced recently he's set to be available on a free transfer when leaving Real Madrid.

Ramos, 35, has enjoyed an incredible and trophy-laden 16-year career with Madrid, but he's now allowed his contract in Spain to run down without agreeing terms for a new deal, which has left Europe's elite clubs on red alert - despite the centre-back's age.

The MEN understand City are not interested in signing Ramos, though.

In more transfer news, Spanish outlet Sport claim City are 'best placed' to sign the versatile Sergi Roberto this summer and, with Barcelona's hopes of signing Aymeric Laporte now seeming slim, it could be a deal that's made with just cash and no makeweights.

It's said that Pep Guardiola is an admirer of Roberto, but that City are yet to make a formal approach for the 29-year-old.

Finally, Caught Offside are reporting that Jack Grealish has completed his £88m transfer from Aston Villa to City, with the article claiming an agreement has been in place for over a season now - this 'completed' rumour should be treated with extreme scepticism.
