The report claims Bayern Munich are another team in the race for the Spaniard, and Atletico are already looking for his replacement.
It is claimed Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente is being lined up by Atletico, with Rodri telling the club he will leave the Wanda Metropolitano this summer.
Finally, City want to sign Inter Milan youngster Sebastiano Esposito, Calciomercato says.
The 16-year-old has performed well at U17 and U19 level this season, and has attracted interest from City and PSG, the report explains.
