Man City line up vs Sheffield United includes Ferran Torres and Kevin De Bruyne

Bernardo Silva and Joao Cancelo start for Manchester City in a strong line-up at Sheffield United.

City travel to South Yorkshire looking to return to the top half of the Premier League and get back to winning ways after the draw at West Ham last week.

And that desire to get three points on the board is reflected in Guardiola's team sheet, which includes Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and a defensive duo of Ruben Dias and Aymeric Laporte.

Cancelo returns at left-back, while Bernardo replaces Ilkay Gundogan in midfield. Riyad Mahrez comes into the attack, with Ferran Torres keeping his place after a fine performance in Marseille in midweek.

Kyle Walker returns to his former club to complete the strong defence alongside Dias, Laporte and Cancelo, with Rodri ahead of them.

With De Bruyne and Bernardo in the centre, City have plenty of attacking strength from midfield to supply Torres, Sterling and Mahrez.

Phil Foden is perhaps unfortunate to be on the bench, while there is a return to the matchday squad for Nathan Ake, who has missed the last three games.

Man City starting XI: Ederson, Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo, Rodrigo, De Bruyne (C), Bernardo, Torres, Mahrez, Sterling.

Substitutes: Carson, Stones, Ake, Gundogan, Zinchenko, Foden, Garcia.
